The Basic Vest EVERY Tall Girl Needs

Miss Selfridge isn’t exactly a place that bubbles over with long-length finds, but this season it does one thing better than anywhere else on the highstreet. The vest.

Its basic vest is a good six inches longer than most of the tops you’ll find in regular stores, and the quality is actually really lovely too.

I wear a lot of blazers for work, so I’ve racked up a fair few (2 black, 2 white, 1 khaki and 1 grey) for layering underneath. They’re also ideal for adding length underneath shrunken tops or just on their own for easy-chic with a pair of jeans.

They’re so long that a “normal” girl could almost mistake them for a dress, but sure enough, if you type “scoop vest” into Miss Selfridge’s search engine, you’ll find lots of basic “vests” that are MADE for leggy lovelies.

Plus they’re currently on the website at 2 for £12. What’s not to love?
