Try Size 9 Shoes for Free :)

Do you wear a UK size 9/ US 11/ Euro 43 shoe? Sick of paying delivery charges just to try them on? Well, now that ASOS — the huge fashion emporium that boasts free worldwide delivery — has extended its collection of size 9s, you can try lots of pairs and send back the ones you don’t fancy keeping, without finding yourself out of pocket.

And since ASOS stocks brands like River Island and New Look that normally charge you delivery fees, it’s worth clicking there first.

Click here to find the size 9 collection. I love the tartan courts (£25) and the very-this-season mid-heel metallics (£35). asos shoes

And if you’re larger than a size 9 shoe, then watch this space. One of the plus-size shoe brands currently on the market will be available on ASOS later this year. More info to follow when the launch is imminent!

  1. Their customer service is atrocious though and don’t expect to get the right size in exchange. Also, a lot of their own brand sizes come up VERY small. I ordered a 7 (I’m usually a 6.5, but no half sizes), and they were teeny tiny, returned them for an 8 (clearly written on the returns form) and received a size 6!! Took over a month to get the right size…!! I cannot believe they don’t have a customer service number on their website. Would never use them again.

  2. I ordered a size 9 from asos the other week, had to send them straight back – no way was that an actual size 9! They were tiny, I couldn’t even get my foot in. Finding consistent sized shoes is doing my head in at the moment, office’s size 9s are either too small or too big. I’ve had to go back to clarks after swearing I’d never shop there again because of atrocious customer service, thank goodness they’ve got some half decent, non ugly shoes.

Aaah no! I always seem to get really good service from ASOS. I’m on their Premium membership so I get free next day delivery for £9.95 a year… always get returns/ refunds sorted no problem.

I think it’s just good to be able to try for free and not get lumbered with a big delivery cost. But you’re right… it’s a bit of a pain if there is an inconsistency. I find New Look size 9 pretty true to size, so it’s at least good to be able to get them sent out for free.

  4. I ordered a pair of size 9 black heeled pointy court shoes from asos the other week. They were so small I couldn’t get anywhere near getting my feet in. Honestly they were so small I thought I might have been sent a size 6 (upside down 9) by accident but it said UK9 on the box. Wouldn’t recommend 🙁

  5. I thought I was seeing things when I scrolled down the page on ASOS – I was under the impression that H by Hudson and Bertie didn’t do size 9! I’m so tempted to order one of each and see if it’s true, if it is I will be very happy indeed.
Just a heads up too – M&S have some excellent size ‘8’s in stock at the moment – an actual 42, and a large one at that! I bought a pair of ankle boots for £39.50 the other day after walking past them and thinking ‘my they look like a decent size’, trying them on and having a very pleasant surprise. Would definitely recommend!
