My name is Laura Schofield and I am addicted to jackets. Tweed ones, ruched ones, waterfall ones, ones with pretty shoulder details. I think they really add interest and texture to a tall frame and are particularly fab for this in-betweeny weather.
Please don’t think I’m a total blazer-brat. Most of them come from H+M, Primarni and — ahem — Asda, and I do wear them almost every day for work.
I usually buy cropped sleeve blazers so that the length doesn’t matter, but I was delighted when ATTT reader Fi got in touch to share this pretty Warehouse boucle that actually hits her wrists…
“I found this jacket (£65) in Warehouse at the weekend and immediately thought of your Tried It On feature when I saw how long the sleeves were. I looked on Warehouse’s website and they say that their models are 5’10” (though they must have short legs as the 30″ inseam jeans seem to fit them OK….) which is a refreshing change from stores that use girls around 5’6″ and it might be worth your readers checking it out. I’m 5’11” myself and you can find me blogging about tall style at shoegalfi.blogspot.com.”
Nice one petal, and thanks for sharing your brilliant blog.
