Dallas-worthy Denim

I don’t need to tell you how terribly tricky it can be to find a sexy, tight-fitting shirt with arms that are long enough. But this one from Forever 21 has stone-washed denim (yum), studded shoulders (Dallas) a lovely nipped-in shape (finally), a long body and sleeves (hurrah)… and is only £16.99. A.MAZE.BALLS.

It’s definitely time for us to all give in and enter dodgy double-denim territory. Fingers crossed that the contrasting black jeans make it all look slightly less “Britney and Justin circa 2001”-ish. You can also tuck it into a circle skirt for a relaxed, girlier look.

And no, my bathroom isn’t that clean and sparkly. I’m up in Nottingham doing some presenting for the lovely Remington team this week, hence the bad-ass beehive — which comes courtsey of the supremely talented Chris Appleton, the man behind Cheryl Cole’s Loreal looks. I loved my hair so much yesterday, that I wore it to the gym, and out to dinner afterwards.

It stayed intact. The man is a genius. Hand him over Chezza, he’s mine now.

  1. Oi amazeballs is my new word, much to my kids disgust haha. Loving the hair 🙂

  2. Oh and I never even thought to look for Forever 21 online, I’m sure they have shop in Dublin where I purchased a few bargains so thanking you for that!!

  3. Gurl you look so great – i like the way you take care of yourself.

I am just under 6 ft (5.11 and 7/10 ths) to be exact.

I however weigh a lot more than you (about 86 KG say 191.75 pounds) I really want to loose weight and get that fragile look you have, but i keep thinking wont it just make me look taller?

Oh i know, silly to go on about stuff like this but shining your light on this would be so great.

I just think you look great!

  4. Ps. Sorry about the “exactness” of the figures. I’m an accountant and feel cheated when even one tiny decimal point of a figure is missing!

    lol good day gurly

  5. Oh dear Jewel! I hope I’m not conveying a ‘fragile’ look. I am anything BUT!

There are beautiful tall women of every size and weight.

I look after myself by going to the gym (ocasssionally), but I wouldn’t let it take over my life. I like cheese and wine far too much to ever be a twiglet in any case.

If you wear clothes you feel good in and walk with confidence, you really can look fabulous at any weight. One of my fave plus size bloggers in Gabi Fresh, and she’s proof that fashion works at ANY size. Gabifresh.com

Don’t lose weight to convey someone else’s ‘look’. Have confidene in your own petal 🙂
